We will work with family members to develop the proper care plan to be sure your loved one’s needs are met. When necessary, we can consult with geriatric case managers, social workers, physician’s hospitals and nursing homes to develop the proper care plan. At Family Bridges, we want to do things your way and on your schedule.

This is not where our involvement ends. After services begin, we monitor the quality of care provided via phone calls and supervisory visits. Family Bridges is there for you whenever you need us.

All of our caregivers receive extensive background checks before they are added to our team. We also check motor vehicle records of all applicants.

How does Family Bridges have the best caregivers?

What sets us apart is that we assess and train our caregivers to make sure our clients receive the best quality of care and service. We do a skills assessment with all employees and provide ongoing training in ours skills lab to ensure competency.

What if we are not pleased with our caregiver?

When it comes to any concerns you have with your caregiver, call your case manager. We will then coach our caregiver or replace them if necessary.

Will we have a choices when selecting our caregiver?

Our trained professionals will pair you with a caregiver that is the perfect fit to meet the needs of your family. We can set up caregiver meet and greet prior to placement if requested.

What is the process when selecting a caregiver?

We aim to match the needs of our clients with the skills of our caregivers and do our best to facilitate compatibility between client and caregiver. Our clients can feel comfortable and confident that their caregivers are the most qualified and experienced for helping them.

How long will it take to get a caregiver to be assigned?

You don’t have to wait. We can help your family immediately with typical placement times between 24 – 48 hours. If you are looking for a caregiver at a future date we can begin a conversation about options whenever you are ready.

What if we need more than one caregiver to assist?

We are happy to supply more than one caregiver for an additional fee. This can be discussed with your case manager.

Do your caregivers provide house cleaning services?

Caregivers will attend to the needs of your loved one but can also perform light housework such as laundry, dusting, and sweeping if necessary. The primary focus of our services is the safety and well-being of your family.

Will your caregivers run errands or pickup items on the way?

Our caregivers can run errands after they have checked in at the client’s home.

Our loved one really enjoys a particular caregiver. Can they be permanent?

We do our best to accommodate any caregivers requested to provide consistency and continuity of care.

What is the process if we find some evidence of abuse or misconduct?

Notify the agency Manager or Director immediately.
