Affordability and safety are 2 areas of focus for Family Bridges Home Care. From time to time, well intended legislation negatively impacts the ability to provide a safe and affordable service.
There is currently a movement in Washington, which if successful, will threaten the ability of care providers around the country to maintain the same level of safety, affordability and reliability in the delivery of the services Family Bridges provides.
We have provided a link to a Washington Examiner article which explains this very well. If you want to have a say in which direction this legislation moves, I would urge you to contact your local Senator and Congressman. The current legislation allows for Family Bridges to provide affordable care with as few caregivers as possible while maintaining a safe work environment. We believe this is in the best interest of both our employees and our clients.

Legislation is almost always well intended, but the unintended consequences do need to be reviewed and we need to decide if this is really the direction we want to go. Good post to raise awareness!
