President and Founder
Mike founded Family Bridges in 2003 when he was 40 years old because he needed a more emotionally satisfying career than what he felt he was getting by being a financial advisor. It has been a decision he has never regretted. For the first year, he was actually maintaining both careers, but the appreciation he felt from clients, their family members and our employees made it evident that his heart was truly in in-home care. An owner’s thoughts are never far from his company, but when he is not focusing on Family Bridges, he enjoys the company of his two older boys, out watching a sporting event or spending time exercising outdoors.
Aging Life Care Professionals are members of the Aging Life Care Association® (ALCA) and differ from Patient Advocates, Senior Advisors, Senior Navigators, and Elder Advocates. ALCA members must meet stringent education, experience, and certification requirements of the organization, and all members are required to adhere to a strict code of ethics and standards of practice.
